Visiting & Open House

VISITORS

Countryside Daylilies is Mail Order only and not open to the public except by special arrangement. Except we will be open from 8 am to 2 pm every weekend in May and the 1st weekend in June. We are in a very rural area of North Florida and don’t draw enough visitors to be open except during this time which includes our peak bloom season (usually May 15 – 30). If you want to pick up specific plants please call ahead and we will have your order prepared when you arrive. We have a large landscaped garden with several split rail fences, old sugar kettles, peacocks, and 2 Koi ponds. Companion plants include: Agapanthus, Azaleas, Blueberries, Camellias, Coleus, Coneflower, Coreopsis, Ferns, Four O’clocks, Gladiolus, Grapes, Hydrangea, Lantana, Roses, Salvia, Sedum, Sky Vine, Sunflowers, Verbena, and Zinnias.  In addition we grow over 700 Daylily Cultivars and most of these are for sale. Our focus has recently shifted to concentrate more on our hybridizing efforts. As a result we have more than 20,000 seedlings under evaluation.
