Yellow/pink blend with green throat and very thick gold edge that often folds over on top of itself, 2¾" petals and 1¾" sepals, fertile pollen but limited pod parent, fragrant, 3 way branching and 24 buds. [FIRST KNIGHT X (ADMIRAL'S BRAID X IDA'S MAGIC)] With it's beautiful flowers, fantastic substance and thick waxy petals I wish MAJOR ISSUES were perfect. Alas it's short scapes insure that many blooms are below the top of the foliage. I have used it extensively and have had success reproducing it's good qualities on taller scapes. I look forward to seeing this years seedling crop results. |
