Flesh peach with bold red eye and thick double edge of red & platinum, green throat, fragrant, 4 way branching and 26 buds. (PEPPERMINT RAGE X MINSTREL'S FIRE) PEPPERMINT RAGE continues to be a great parent for me. It is in the background of several thousand seedlings and also produced RED EYE GRAVY which was introduced last Fall. My most productive crosses to date come with PEPPERMINT RAGE X MINSTREL'S FIRE. I currently have 2 registrations using this cross(POWERFUL THING and RAGING FIRESTORM) Both were registered as 2nd year seedlings because I knew I would introduce them. Fantastic wide single and double edges are consistantly produced and I have well over 100 hundred selected seedlings from this single cross. POWERFUL THING is pollen fertile and very pod fertile and will be used extensively in my future hybrizing efforts. |
