DRESSED IN LACE

Previous Page

DRESSED IN LACE Scott,E 05 T 26" Ev ERe 7" Pink blend with cream hi-lites, very ruffled looping pink & gold edge, green throat, petal width 3" to 3½" and sepal width 2" to 2¼", polytepals infrequently (approximately 7%), petal widths increase on the polytepals but the edge is less pronounced, fragrant, pod and pollen fertile, 4 to 5 way branching and 28 to 33 buds. (ED BROWN X EDGE OF LACE) The first bloom of DRESSED IN LACE was this huge square shaped pink in the seedling patch. I quickly realized that it was a polytepal and checked the other developing buds and found that several others were poly as well. When I saw DRESSED IN LACE for the first time as a normal 3 petaled bloom I liked it so much I knew I would introduce it. I don't want to mislead anyone so let me reiterate that DRESSED IN LACE is only an occasional poly. It's seedlings do occasionally poly so there may be potential in increasing the poly gene pool but it is a very small pool. Poly or not the offspring produced thus far show promise producing near perfect selfs in a range of color with fabulous ruffled same color edges. S $150
